Playdate

Today I had like three people that needed to stop by for something or another. One being a friend of mine whose baby is like 5 months older than Ava. I have another friend whose baby is 3 months younger than Ava and she has "played" with Kelsey Lynn a couple of times but that usually consists of Ava taking whatever we have giving Kelsey and Kelsey "yelling" at her! We always say we can't wait till they can actually play together without me being nervous Ava is going to beat her up! But today was different Goldie Grayce was walking around playing and Ava was crawling after her. We laughed so hard at them communicating and then it went south. Goldie Grayce is VERY much attached to her blankie and Ava was not being a good hostess. She sat on it and she GG could not get if from her well GG was ticked. She screamed and tugged and in the process fell down and hurt her eye :( That was sad but everytime Ava got near her she yelled and buried her head in her mommma like she was holding a grudge OMG we had the best time. Everything except the injury was just HILARIOUS! We have made plans to for sure do that again!

And she's off...

So I work fulltime but I work from home some of the time and today while my Manny (dad) was watching Ava she did it! She walked....Well only two steps. She pulled up on their dog and then went for my dad. I have spent a lot of time worrying about me missing the big milestones! She did crawl for the first time over there and I hated that but I kind of came up with a rule...If it doesn't happen here it doesn't COUNT! The first time is the first time with me.

The beginning....

I totally enjoy reading everyone else's blog so I thought I would give it a go! Ava is doing some pretty hilarious things these days and like everyone else's blogs I would like to maybe jot it down so I can have record of it! I try and get on the internet for a couple of minutes each night and this hopefully will slide into my routine. I very rarely make time for my friends so maybe they can keep up with us! Ok who am I kidding I will probably neglect this like everything else! HA... Well that is the start right now Brandon is in the kitchen looking for something as usual and Ava is refusing to go to sleep, so this is the LAST thing I should be doing!
